I’m an artist based on the beautiful and wild Cape Peninsular just south of Cape Town, South Africa. My canvases come alive with a kaleidoscope of colours, inspired by the beauty of the natural world, the energy of life, humour in all things, and the endless possibilities held within the spectrum itself.
I begin my process by finding inspiration – whether it’s a picture of an animal with a curious or quirky expression, a person with a mesmerising aspect, or something that resonates with my core values. Whatever it is, my palette knife doesn’t merely replicate what I see. I stay true to the form, yet delve into a world of unexpected colour combinations. Breathing life and emotion into the painting, creating a visual story that transcends the original image.
